On the first visit to the hobby shop with Chris from microRCobsessions, this had just come out. He got the blue one, I got the red. I wanted to see if I could make a truck that maintained the "scale" look, but performed well with budget upgrades mostly from Amazon.

I went with portals that were not budget at all, but they were red!

after that I tried some shocks, these off brand wheels and tires, and the injora motor because I wanted to keep the stock esc/receiver with the LED setup. It's not a bad little truck, and even though Chris did not like to compete, I was able to run similar lines at his course.
